Le Pharaoh — sticky wins turn positions into Golden Squares
Golden Squares are the bridge between ordinary Sticky Re-drops and Golden Riches, where coins, clovers and Pots of Gold resolve in a fixed order.
Supplier sources below. Operator eligibility needs a separate check.

Le Pharaoh by Hacksaw Gaming begins with Sticky Re-drops. Symbols in a win stick and paying positions become Golden Squares. New paying symbols that extend or create a win also stick and trigger another re-drop. The sequence stops when no further extension or new win appears.
Rainbow and FS symbols can stick alongside a win but do not create Golden Squares. The temporary board state is cleared at the next spin or when Golden Riches activates.
Golden Riches resolution
A Rainbow present at the end of Sticky Re-drops activates Golden Riches. Golden Squares reveal Bronze, Silver or Gold Coins, with possible Pots of Gold and green or golden clovers. Coin values are multiples of bet. Green clovers multiply adjacent coins or pots; golden clovers multiply every coin or pot on the grid.
Pots activate top-to-bottom, left-to-right and collect all coin and other pot values. Other Golden Squares can then reveal again and repeat the sequence. The final coin and pot values are added and multiplied by the bet.
Bonus Choice
Three scatters allow a choice between Luck of the Pharaoh and Lost Treasures; four unlock their Super variants. Luck provides ten spins and retains Sticky Re-drops and Golden Riches, with Golden Squares persisting through the bonus. Super Luck supplies twelve spins, better chances for higher coin and pot values and guarantees a clover whenever Golden Riches activates.
Lost Treasures uses three refilling lives with sticky coins, pots and adding or multiplying Stone Tablets. A non-dead activation refills lives. Super Lost Treasures guarantees an Adding Stone Tablet on the first spin. Five scatters trigger Rainbow Over the Pyramids with twelve spins, persistent Golden Squares and a guaranteed Rainbow on every spin.
Evidence limits
The official page publishes the feature rules but not readable RTP, stake limits or New Zealand casino availability.
Sticky Re-drops begin with a paying symbol
When symbols form a win, those winning symbols stick. Their positions become Golden Squares, and the remaining positions re-drop. A later symbol that extends the existing win or creates a new one also sticks and starts another re-drop.
Record the original winning coordinates, symbol identity and Golden Square state before the first re-drop. On every later state, mark only newly sticky positions. Existing sticky cells do not by themselves create another re-drop.
The sequence ends when the new symbols neither extend a win nor create another. Save that terminal board before it clears or advances to Golden Riches.
Creating Golden Squares
A paying position that sticks becomes a Golden Square. Give each square a stable coordinate ID and generation number. This preserves when it entered the board and which win created it.
Rainbow and FS symbols can stick alongside a win but do not create Golden Squares under the provider rule. Keep them in the grid record without adding them to the Golden Square map.
The temporary state clears on the next ordinary spin or when Golden Riches activates. It is not stored across unrelated paid rounds.
Extending versus creating a win
A re-drop can continue in two ways: a new paying symbol extends an existing combination or new symbols create another qualifying win. Record the route used for each continuation.
Do not continue the ledger merely because a symbol lands on an empty position. The final paytable evaluation must show an extension or new win.
Several winning routes on one state can create multiple new Golden Squares, but they belong to one re-drop event unless the live history separates them.
Rainbow activation
A Rainbow present at the end of Sticky Re-drops activates Golden Riches. Record the Rainbow coordinate and terminal sticky board. A Rainbow seen earlier but absent at the end does not prove activation.
The provider wording ties activation to the end state, so preserve the final stopped grid rather than an intermediate animation. If several Rainbows appear, use the deployed help to record their treatment.
When Golden Riches begins, copy every Golden Square coordinate into a new reveal ledger.
Revealing coin types
Golden Squares can reveal Bronze, Silver or Gold Coins, Pots of Gold, and green or golden clovers. Record the content of every square before modifiers act.
Coin values are multiples of the bet. Preserve the exact displayed value and the live definition of complete bet. Colour or metal type alone is not a numerical value.
Do not infer unrevealed contents from nearby squares or promotional artwork.
Green clover scope
A green clover multiplies adjacent coins or pots. Record its coordinate, adjacency geometry from the live help, affected neighbours, their values before modification and values afterwards.
Do not apply a green clover to the entire board. Only documented adjacent recipients qualify. If two green clovers affect the same object, preserve the game’s operation order.
The modifier belongs before Pot collection in the published resolution sequence.
Golden clover scope
A golden clover multiplies every coin or pot on the grid. Capture the multiplier and complete recipient list. Its whole-grid reach distinguishes it from green.
If both clover types appear, record their chronological order from the game. Multiplication may not be commutative with later additions or repeated reveals.
Do not advertise a fixed multiplier value without the actual reveal and paytable.
Pot activation order
Pots activate top-to-bottom and left-to-right. Number them in that order before any collection occurs. Each Pot collects all coin and other Pot values according to the provider description.
The order matters because an earlier Pot can change values available to a later one. Preserve the grid after each activation instead of calculating every Pot from the same original state.
Mark values as consumed, collected or retained exactly as the live event shows to prevent double counting.
Repeat reveals
After Pots collect, other Golden Squares can reveal again and repeat the sequence. Open a new reveal generation while preserving the prior state history.
Resolve clovers in that generation before Pots, then activate Pots in top-to-bottom, left-to-right order. Continue until the game reaches its terminal reveal state.
A final screenshot cannot explain repeated collection; the event ledger is necessary.
Golden Riches settlement
At the end, add all final coin and Pot values and multiply the result by the documented bet unit. Compare the calculation with the feature credit and account history.
Keep clover effects and Pot collections as intermediate operations. Do not multiply the bet at every generation unless the live rules explicitly do so.
If an overall payout cap applies, record the uncapped arithmetic and cap separately.
Worked Golden Riches example
Suppose the terminal sticky board creates several Golden Squares, including coins, one green clover and two Pots. First apply the green clover to documented adjacent recipients. Then activate the upper or leftmost Pot before the later Pot.
If another square reveals after collection, create a second generation and repeat the same order. Finally, total remaining values and apply the bet once.
The example shows sequence only and supplies no invented values or probability.
Three-scatter Bonus Choice
Three scatters open a choice between Luck of the Pharaoh and Lost Treasures. Save the trigger grid, menu and selected route. The choice is meaningful because the two modes use different duration systems.
Do not claim both bonuses run together. Record the chosen mode and its initial state before play begins.
Four scatters unlock the Super variants, which also require their own mode label.
Luck of the Pharaoh
Luck supplies ten spins and retains Sticky Re-drops and Golden Riches. Golden Squares persist through the bonus rather than clearing after each primary spin.
Open a cumulative Golden Square map and copy it between spins. New qualifying positions are added by generation; old ones remain until feature end.
Keep the Free Spins counter separate from re-drop events and reveal generations.
Super Luck of the Pharaoh
The Super version supplies twelve spins, better chances for higher coin and Pot values and guarantees a clover whenever Golden Riches activates.
Record the twelve-spin entry, every activation and the guaranteed clover’s type and position. “Better chances” is qualitative on the public page and should not be converted into an invented percentage.
Persistent Golden Squares still require coordinate tracking through the full bonus.
Lost Treasures
Lost Treasures uses three refilling lives with sticky coins, Pots and Stone Tablets. Record initial lives, every new sticky object and counter changes.
Stone Tablets can add or multiply. Preserve their operation symbol, value and application order. A non-dead activation refills lives; identify the exact event shown by the client.
The feature ends under its lives rule, after which the sticky board is settled according to the deployed help.
Super Lost Treasures
Super Lost Treasures guarantees an Adding Stone Tablet on the first spin. Capture that initial tablet, its value and affected state before the next feature event.
Do not describe the guaranteed tablet as multiplying. The provider specifically calls it Adding. Later tablets must be recorded individually.
The three-life ledger and sticky object map remain essential.
Rainbow Over the Pyramids
Five scatters trigger twelve spins with persistent Golden Squares and a guaranteed Rainbow on every spin. Save the five-scatter trigger and initial counter.
For each primary spin, identify the guaranteed Rainbow, complete Sticky Re-drops, activate Golden Riches at the correct boundary and preserve the cumulative square map.
The guaranteed Rainbow does not guarantee a particular coin value or payout.
Comparing bonus routes
Luck uses counted spins and persistent Golden Squares. Lost Treasures uses refilling lives and sticky collection objects. Their Super variants change starting spins, chances or initial tablet state. Rainbow Over the Pyramids combines twelve spins, persistent squares and a Rainbow each spin.
A comparison table should include trigger count, duration system, persistent objects, guaranteed element and settlement method. Do not merge their rules.
The selected or triggered mode must be visible on every round record.
The additional-spin schedule belongs to three counted-spin routes
The current publisher gives the same simultaneous-FS schedule for Luck of the Pharaoh, Super Luck and Rainbow Over the Pyramids: two FS symbols award two extra spins; three award four. Lost Treasures and its Super variant do not use that schedule: FS symbols do not appear there, and their duration uses refilling lives.
For an invented counted-spin worksheet, begin a primary spin with one remaining spin. Playing it consumes one; suppose its actual qualifying event contains three additional FS symbols. The published four-spin award then gives 1 − 1 + 4 = 4 remaining spins. Counting one added spin per symbol would instead produce three, using a rule the supplier does not publish for this game.
| Hypothetical event | Opening counter | Consumed | Documented award | Closing counter |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Three simultaneous FS symbols | 1 | 1 | 4 | 4 |
| Later two simultaneous FS symbols | 4 | 1 | 2 | 5 |
| Later spin without a qualifying award | 5 | 1 | 0 | 4 |
These are three primary spins, not the Sticky Re-drop animations or Golden Riches reveal generations inside them. Save the simultaneous symbol group on the settled event; three symbols arriving in three separate primary spins are not the same evidence as three together. The table assumes the displayed consumption and awards have been reconciled, and supplies no probability for this sequence.
A Stone Tablet changes one recipient, not every Coin
The publisher says each Adding or Multiplying Stone Tablet acts on one random Coin per spin. Its possible additions range through the listed values from one to 500 bet units; multiplier options are two, three, four, five, ten and twenty. The full-grid end condition is separate from three consecutive spins without a life refill. Neither mechanic means every sticky Coin is modified by every Tablet.
To illustrate why chronology matters, assign a hypothetical Coin C1 value five. Suppose an observed event sequence first adds three to C1, then multiplies that same Coin by four. The intermediate values are five, eight and thirty-two. Reversing those operations gives five, twenty and twenty-three. Both sets use the same numerical inputs, but the totals differ by nine bet units.
This calculation does not invent a universal Adding-before-Multiplying priority. It demonstrates two possible ordered expressions; the active event log decides which, if either, occurred. If the second Tablet selected C2 instead, C1 would remain eight and C2 would need its own starting value and multiplication row. Identifying the recipient is as important as identifying the operator.
Keep the life-reset event separate from the value change. A non-dead symbol that lands and activates refills lives to three under the published rule; the number three is not added to Coin value. Conversely, a thirty-two-unit Coin is not thirty-two lives. At final settlement, add the surviving Coin and Pot values once and convert through the documented bet unit. Intermediate values from earlier rows are checkpoints, not additional cash awards to sum again.
A qualifying refill is an assignment to three, not an addition of three. If one life remains after consumption, the refill changes it to three rather than four.
Bet definition and numerical fields
Coin and Pot values are multiples of bet, so record the full round stake from the live help. Confirm whether the operator’s displayed bet is the unit used at settlement.
The public page does not expose readable RTP, stake range, volatility or maximum exposure. Collect them from the exact version with operator, currency and date.
Do not infer overall maximum from one Pot result or bonus description.
New Zealand availability
The global Hacksaw page does not confirm real-money access in New Zealand. Verify country terms, registration eligibility, authenticated catalogue and successful launch.
NZD support, payments, verification and withdrawals are operator facts. Source them separately and date the check.
A demo or portfolio entry is insufficient. Do not advise bypassing location controls.
Mobile and accessibility checks
On mobile, every sticky cell, Golden Square, Rainbow, clover, Pot, tablet and counter must remain visible. Test portrait and landscape modes and device rotation mid-feature.
Bronze, Silver and Gold need labels beyond colour. Clover scope and Pot activation order should be communicated after reduced animation. Keyboard focus must reach help, paytable and history.
After interruption, compare mode, sticky map, reveal generation, lives or spin counter, balance and round identifier with server history.
Support-ready evidence
For a re-drop issue, provide every sticky generation and qualifying win. For Golden Riches, provide reveal contents, clover operations, ordered Pot activations and final arithmetic.
For bonuses, add trigger, selected route, persistent map and counter history. Include operator, title, version, timestamp, stake, currency and round identifier.
Never share passwords, one-time codes, private keys or seed phrases. Ask authenticated support to inspect server events.
Session controls
Persistent Golden Squares and nearly completed collection boards can feel like stored value. They exist only inside the active feature and do not make another paid trigger due.
Set stake, spending and time limits before play. Do not increase stakes to chase a Rainbow, clover or Super route.
Understanding resolution order supports settlement review, not prediction. Use responsible-play tools and stop at the chosen boundary.
Publication checklist
- Create Golden Squares only from paying sticky positions.
- Keep Rainbow and FS symbols out of the Golden Square map.
- Require a terminal Rainbow for Golden Riches activation.
- Resolve green adjacent and golden whole-grid clovers before Pots.
- Activate Pots top-to-bottom, then left-to-right.
- Preserve repeat reveal generations.
- Keep Luck and Lost Treasures duration systems separate.
- Record Super guarantees without inventing probability gains.
- Apply coin and Pot totals to the documented bet once.
- Verify RTP, stakes and New Zealand access from live evidence.
Editorial assessment
Le Pharaoh is governed by order. Wins create persistent positions, Rainbow opens the reveal, clovers modify values, Pots collect in a fixed grid sequence and later reveals can repeat the process. Skipping a stage risks double counting.
The bonus menu changes persistence and duration but not the need for a chronological ledger. A rigorous review documents the selected route and leaves RTP, stakes, maximum exposure and local availability unclaimed until the deployed game supplies primary evidence.
Version comparison protocol
Keep each tested configuration attached to its operator, build, currency and verification date. Compare Golden Square creation, Rainbow timing, clover scope, Pot order, choice menu and Super guarantees field by field. A changed RTP or stake interval does not prove that the collection sequence changed.
Archive one complete Sticky Re-drop chain, one multi-Pot Golden Riches resolution and one example from each available bonus route with the matching help screen. These reference rounds make it possible to distinguish a real product update from a faster animation or an article that resolved Pots before clovers.
When primary sources conflict, show both dated states and request clarification. Do not merge ten-spin and twelve-spin modes, transfer the guaranteed first Adding Tablet to the ordinary Lost Treasures route or convert qualitative “better chances” into a percentage.
Practical reader decision points
Before play, confirm live RTP, complete stake, maximum exposure, country eligibility and responsible-play controls. During an ordinary sequence, ask which positions became Golden, whether a Rainbow remained at the end and which reveal generation is active.
During Golden Riches, preserve the values before clovers, after clovers, after each Pot and after any repeat reveal. During a bonus, add the selected mode and lives or spin counter. Those fields are sufficient to reconstruct settlement without relying on promotional claims.
After feature end, clear every temporary map and apply the pre-set session boundary. A persistent Golden Square belongs to its current bonus only; it is not stored account value and does not make a later trigger more likely.
Arithmetic review template
Write each disputed settlement as an ordered expression: revealed coin and Pot values; green-clover adjustments to adjacent recipients; golden-clover adjustments to the whole grid; Pot collections in top-to-bottom, left-to-right order; later reveal generations; final remaining total multiplied by the documented bet.
This exposes double counting immediately. It also separates feature arithmetic from RTP, which is a long-run theoretical field and cannot be calculated from one rich collection board.

Bottom line: the audit sequence is re-drop, Golden Square creation, clover modification, then pot collection.
How to verify the version you can actually open
A provider page proves that a title exists and describes the supplier's intended rules. It does not prove that a casino accepts players in New Zealand, that the title is enabled for a particular account, or that the highest published RTP is the version in the lobby. Treat availability, operator eligibility and product configuration as three separate checks.
Start with identity, then configuration
Open the game only through the authenticated casino lobby. The information or help panel should identify Hacksaw Gaming, the exact title and the active mathematical return. Compare the reel or grid layout, paylines or cluster rules, named features and symbol behaviour with the official product material. Similar artwork or a matching title is not enough when the help file is missing or inconsistent.
When the supplier publishes several RTP values, report all of them as configurations. Do not assume the highest option is deployed. RTP is a theoretical long-run measure across a very large number of rounds; it is not a refund rate for one player and cannot predict the next result. Volatility is different: it describes how unevenly results are distributed on the provider's scale.
Read stake controls as money, not interface decoration
Provider sheets often quote a reference range in euros. That range does not establish New Zealand-dollar support or the limits in a specific account. Before a paid round, identify the total amount that will leave the balance. If the interface separates denomination, coins and lines, verify the combined total. If Extra Bet is active, calculate its full cost before pressing spin.
Feature-buy prices are multiples of the current bet, not promised returns. A 100x purchase at a $1 stake costs $100; at a $2 stake it costs $200. Availability can vary by market and some mathematical configurations may not support the control. If the live help does not explain the price, delivered feature and active RTP, leave the option unused.
Keep simulation figures in their proper scope
A game sheet may publish a maximum result observed in a large simulation. That is not automatically the contractual maximum payout and never describes a likely session. Preserve the provider's wording, sample size and configuration. Check the live rules for a binding cap and the operator terms for any separate payout limit. Do not turn an extreme result into a promotional headline.
Audit a disputed round
If an animation freezes or a connection drops, do not repeat the wager immediately. Reopen the game through the authenticated lobby and inspect round history. Record the time, total stake, balance movement and round identifier. The result can be settled by the gaming system even when the device never displays the final animation. Send evidence through verified operator support; never disclose a password, recovery phrase or one-time code.
Read the paytable as a calculation document
The paytable should explain what creates a win, which symbols substitute, where special symbols can land and how multiple awards combine. For line games, confirm direction and active paylines. For cluster games, confirm adjacency, minimum group size and the order of collection. For respins, identify what remains locked, what resets the counter and what ends the feature. A graphic effect can illustrate those rules but cannot replace them.
Separate addition from multiplication. Several prize values may be added before a multiplier applies, while reel-specific multipliers can sometimes multiply together only when each reel participates in the same win. Reconstruct one low-stake result from game history. If the arithmetic cannot be matched to the help file, stop and ask the operator rather than guessing.
Do not confuse hit frequency with a profitable round
Provider sheets can publish hit frequency or category probabilities. A hit simply means a round returned a qualifying amount; it can be smaller than the stake. “Big”, “Mega” or “Epic” thresholds are provider reporting categories, not promises. They are useful for comparing mathematical versions only when definitions and samples are the same.
Random outcomes do not become due after a long gap. A feature that appeared repeatedly in a demo or marketing clip has no obligation to repeat in a funded session. Previous rounds do not create a debt from the next random result.
Confirm market and device behaviour independently
A title can exist in the supplier catalogue while an operator disables it for a territory, currency, device or bonus. Language localisation is not evidence of legal availability. Confirm the operator's identity, accepted countries and current lobby separately from the provider review.
On mobile, verify that balance, total bet, feature state and help remain visible without overlap. On desktop, check that browser zoom does not hide a purchase control or change the apparent denomination. Mathematical configuration should not change merely because the screen changes; if the help shows another RTP, treat it as a different deployment and record it.
Keep a compact evidence record
For any fact used in a review, save the title, provider, official URL, document date when available, access date and exact territorial scope. For a live session, add the operator domain, Game ID, RTP, currency and a non-sensitive screenshot of the help panel. This makes later corrections possible when a supplier updates a sheet or an operator changes configuration.
Missing information should remain missing. Do not estimate an RTP from results, convert a euro reference range into an operator's NZD limit, or treat another casino's configuration as evidence. A transparent “not confirmed” is more useful than a precise-looking number without the correct source.
Use limits that survive the feature design
Collection meters, expanding grids, sticky symbols and near misses can make a session feel unfinished. Unless the rules explicitly preserve progress, the visible state has no value after the round or feature ends. Set a money limit and time limit before launch, count feature buys immediately, and stop at the limit even when a meter appears close to an upgrade.
No random game is an income plan. Do not borrow, use essential funds or raise the stake to recover a loss. If play stops feeling recreational, use timeout, deposit-limit or self-exclusion tools and consult the site's responsible gambling guide.
Primary source and correction path
This guide separates documented product information from market availability. Check the official source and the game help inside the exact version offered before making a decision.
